Taverner on target as Winterbourne beat Bishopston to lift title
Taverner's 43 not out and an unbeaten 46 from Sam Bracey guided Winterbourne to victory.
Winterbourne reached 133-3 in reply to Bishopston's 132-4, in which Lawrence Cook hit 34 and Ben Woolf, who took home the achievement award, scored 36 not out.
Winterbourne A also triumphed over Bishopston in the final of the Ray Baker Under-11 League Championship.
Ben Slade, who retired not out on 26, took the man-of-the-match honours as his side reached 77-3 in response to Bishopston's 75 all out.
Lewis Ford starred with the ball during the Bishopston innings, taking 3-17 from his four overs and also claiming a run-out.
Tom Rowlands (20) top-scored for Bishopston – as he had done in his team's semi-final victory over Hanham – earning him the achievement award.
Winterbourne A had reached the final after a stunning 10-wicket victory over Bristol. Ford claimed 3-10 from his two overs as Bristol were all out for 28.
Nailsea A beat Old Bristolians/Westbury by eight wickets to claim the Les Hodge Under-13 League Championship title.
Old Bristolians/Westbury were bowled out for 81, despite Guy Sackett's 32. His efforts earned him the achievement award.
But Nailsea were too strong, reaching 84-2 in their response, with man-of-the-match Liam Lester scoring 33.
Bedminster slipped to a 36-run defeat against Gloucester City Winget in the final of the Colin Mitchell Under-17 Championship.
Gloucester, with Dave Hemmings and Jack Cowles both scoring 32, reached 130-9 but Bedminster could only manage 94 all out in reply.
Bedminster had reached the final with an eight-wicket victory over Bishopston.
Tom Pugsley's 3-12 restricted Bishopston to 98-6 before an unbeaten 42 from Joe Brimble saw Bedminster reach 99-2.
