Children at a Bristol school had an Indian experience yesterday when a Bollywood children's author dropped by.

Puneet Bahandal, who has had two books published, talked about her work, and passed on some writing tips.

And there was time for some pupils to learn some new moves in a Bollywood dance workshop. Mrs Bahandal has worked in the publishing industry for almost 20 years as a writer, production editor and designer.

Library manager Trish Wedlake, who organised the visit, said: "A visit from an author such as Puneet Bahandal is a real bonus."
