Weston knocked out of Premier Cup

Frome Tn 3 Weston-super-Mare 1: Weston were bundled out of the Somerset Premier Cup by a resolute Frome.

The Seagulls gave starts to Scott Bartlett, Tom Evans and Dayle Grubb, but Frome went ahead on 32 minutes when Matt Minnis scored from close range.

Weston were fortunate to equalise on the half-time whistle when Frome skipper Jamie Cheeseman put through his own goal from Josh Klein-Davies' cross.

Minnis restored Frome's lead on 54 minutes with a superb header and Luke Ballinger completed Weston's woes from the penalty spot on 67 minutes.
