Why not become an apprentice?
The college Business Enterprise Centre offers a range of apprenticeship training programmes.
Apprenticeships are work- based programmes designed by businesses to train and upskill their workforces.
They are available to all adults aged 16 and above and the Government pays tuition fees and training is mainly on-the-job.
Peggy Tovey, centre leader said: "The choice of apprenticeships available expands to more than 51 occupational areas, including accounting, barbering, beauty, business administration, catering, hairdressing, hospitality, retail, sport and much more.
"So we hope young people, who are waiting for their exam results and are unsure what to do next, will get in touch with us.
"There are huge career benefits for people who do an apprenticeship."
