Cheltenham boss Allen signs two Tottenham youngsters
No players left the club, despite Allen making five players available for loan.
Spanish left-back Yuri Berchiche and Irish winger David Hutton have both arrived from the Premier League side and are expected to make their Robins debuts at Walsall tomorrow.
Allen played under Spurs boss Harry Redknapp at West Ham between 1994 and 1996, while his cousin Clive is developmental coach at White Hart Lane and is likely to have played a part in the double switch.
Berchiche, 19, joined Spurs from Athletic Bilbao in 2007 and has represented Spain at both Under-16 and 17 levels.
Hutton joined Tottenham's Academy in 2006 and has represented the Republic of Ireland at all youth and age-group levels.
He recently had a trial with Exeter City, for whom he scored twice in a 2-0 reserve win against Town's reserves in February, but he failed to earn a move to the Grecians.
Allen is planning on giving youth a chance in the last eight games, with Cheltenham seemingly consigned to relegation.
"We have got both players for nothing and I am very grateful to Harry Redknapp for allowing them to come to us so that we can have a look at them with a view to maybe doing something in the future," Allen said.
Of the players whose names were circulated this week, a move to Wycombe Wanderers for Paul Connor fell through and the striker also turned down Port Vale at the last minute.
John Finnigan, Josh Low, Alan Wright and Shane Duff were the other players who were free to leave, but they will all be staying.
Low, currently suspended, and Finnigan are contracted until 2010. Brighton were believed to have been chasing Finnigan. The Town skipper, who will miss Saturday's tie injured, said: "I was open to offers and a couple of agents called, but nothing was tempting enough for me."
