The show is celebrating 150 years in 2009 and kicks off the agricultural show season for the South West.
There are a host of attractions including tractor pulling, terrier racing, heavy horses, Pony Club games, Severnside Dog Agility Club as well as livestock and horse exhibits competing for their awards in the show ring.
And new for this year there is a main ring and countryside area with a dog scurry, a retrieving competition.
Plus there is have-a-go archery, rural crafts, children's entertainment, trade stands and food hall complete the line-up and organisers say there's plenty for all the family.
