Spate of violence in Highbridge

Highbridge has been hit by a spate of violence.

Residents at a house in Charlotte Court were assaulted and robbed on Tuesday at about 5pm.

At 5.30pm a communal front door was damaged at flats in Church Street. Shortly afterwards a man and woman were assaulted by a large group in the Market Street and Bank Street car park.

A 21-year-old man from Bridgwater has been charged with battery.
