F1 Brawn at South Gloucestershire County Show

Jenson Button's £5-million Brawn Formula 1 car was one of the main attractions at a new bank holiday event near Thornbury.

The first South Gloucestershire County Show began on Saturday and continues until 6pm today at the showground in Old Down.

It includes entertainment for all the family, from cars to show jumping and from husky racing to hot air balloons.

The grey weather has hit attendance figures but organisers are hoping for a good turnout today.

One of the bank holiday weekend's main successes was a drive-in screening of the hit film Mamma Mia!
