Find out why people see ghosts

Friday, March 20, 2009, 10:00

Why do people see ghosts? Anyone with an open mind who wants to understand more about spooky experiences can attend an unusual course at New College, Swindon, next week.

It's an introduction by Swindon's PSI (Paranormal Site Investigators) team to the psychological reasons why people experience what they believe are ghosts.

About half of the population are open to the idea of ghosts, and a great many ordinary people genuinely report experiences.

"On this course you will learn about the different physical and psychological factors that cause people to think they are experiencing something extraordinary," said Nicky Sewell, of PSI.

The course is on Saturday, March 28, from 10am-4pm. If you're interested in PSI's work, visit their website, www.p-s-i.org.uk
