Bat For Lashes set for Somerset gig
The indie singer - real name Natasha Khan - has joined acts like Grace Jones, Lily Allen, The Enemy, The Mars Volta and Super Furry Animals on the bill for the Somerset House Summer Series.
She will perform on July 16.
Outlandish music legend Grace will be first to take to the outdoor stage at the magnificent London venue on July 9, followed by The Enemy on July 10 and Lily on July 11.
The Mars Volta will perform on July 13, The Ting Tings on July 14, Pendulum on July 15, Bat For Lashes on July 16 and Athlete on July 17.
The Super Furry Animals will be closing the Summer Series on July 18 and the act for July 12 is yet to be confirmed.
In the past seven years the Somerset Summer Series has seen spectacular one-off outdoor performances from acts including Lambchop, Orbital, Goldfrapp, Calexico, Bloc Party, PJ Harvey, Doves, Sigur Ros, Belle & Sebastian, Justice, Duffy, Adele, Air, Prodigy, Erykah Badu, Robert Plant, Mogwai, Amy Winehouse, Hot Chip, and The Roots.
