THANK you for reporting the anti-social behaviour "Campaigner spits at mayor candidate Jon Rogers at protest" The Post November 26)

I was invited to join protesters on College Green and listen to their concerns by Judith Brown the respected chair of the Bristol Older People's Forum.

I listened and indeed understand some of the concerns.

If chosen as Bristol's first elected mayor I will continue to do all in my power to ensure that older and vulnerable people thrive.
