Dings dominated this EDF National Trophy third round tie, running in five tries to sink Westcombe Park.

Dings were first on the scoreboard with a penalty from Adam Westall on six minutes after centre Sam Caven was tackled two metres short. Westcombe Park equalised on 24 minutes with a penalty from flanker Philip Rogers.

Dings' first try came two minutes later, full-back Orlando Stott, who had a fine game, fielded a clearance on halfway and ran it back beating three defenders before slipping the ball to flanker Rich Jenkins. Westall added the conversion.

On the half-hour, Westall increased Dings' lead with his second penalty and their second try came two minutes before half-time when wing Chris Wright-Hider touched down in the corner.

Westall added the touchline conversion for a 20-3 lead at half-time.

Dings were on the scoreboard within two minutes of the restart with a try for Stott, Westall adding the conversion.

Dings forced a succession of penalties on the visitors' line and after unsuccessfully opting for three scrums, Westall landed a penalty.

Dings added two further tries in the final 10 minutes, the first from Westall and the second from lock Rob Rees.
