Cheltenham 46 Trowbridge 22

Cheltenham bounced back from a narrow defeat at the hands of champions-elect Maidenhead with a 46-22 victory over Trowbridge.

Cheltenham scored eight tries through wing Richard Morris, Ben Constantine, Sam Hanks, Layne Manley (2), Ben Hough and Adam Pickford (2). Rickford converted one and Hanks two.

Battling Trowbridge managed four tries and they led 7-5 early on when Jack Pike's try was converted by Lloyd Davis. Ashley Clark, Marcus Godsell and Adam Sullivan also scored tries.
