On-trial Frank Feltscher scores twice for Bristol City in friendly win
Swiss trialist Frank Feltscher made a good first impression when playing for Bristol City in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Forest Green Rovers today.
Invited to train with the Championship club for a week after being recommended by a European scout, the 24-year-old Grasshoppers play-maker scored twice in a 4-1 win in front of watching manager Derek McInnes at the club's Failand headquarters.
Deployed on the right side of an attacking threesome in a 4-3-3 formation, Venezuelan international Feltscher opened the scoring from the penalty spot, added a second when running onto Neil Kilkenny's long pass and eventually came off after 73 minutes.
Youth team strikers Kevin Krans and Wes Burns added to City's tally after the break, the latter converting a penalty.

“From what I've seen on Youtube, he's more of a striker or attacking midfielder playing off a striker than a play maker.
Looks pacy, quite strong but greedy on occassions.
Could come in if Albert's selected for the final Ghana squad but I'd prefer TWO big CB;s with a broken nose and threatening demeanour!!”
