Thornbury's Griffin and Allen the Real deal

GFA PRIMARY CUP ROUND-UP:

Ross Griffin and Chris Allen both notched hat-tricks as Real Thornbury swept to a 7-1 home win against Sneyd Park B in the second round of the GFA Primary Cup.

Totterdown POB Reserves went down 4-2 to goals from John Bale (2), John Nutland and Ben Garland for De Veys, the unbeaten Bristol & Avon League leaders, while Crosscourt Reserves beat Bengal Tigers 2-1 thanks to Mark Abrahams and Ryan Palmer.

Kerry Nicholson (2), Declan Coltono, Neil Blunsdon and Rob Bowers were Patchway North End's scorers in a 5-2 victory at Oldland Abbotonians B, while West Town won 4-1 at Rockleaze Avonside with goals from Ashley Wilson, Mike Morris, Joe Orbin and Dan Weston.

Stuart Price replied for Rolls Royce in a 4-1 away defeat by Saints OB Reserves, for whom Jack Boyd (2), Adam Davis and Lucas Erundi netted, while James Hall and Jeff Roger netted for Retainers A, 2-0 winners against Cotham OB.

Chris Brown's double and an own goal gave Hallen B a 3-2 victory at Wellington, who replied through Gino Soave and Ashley Hewitt, while Ollie Fowle scored twice as Mangotsfield B hammered Clifton St Vincents B 9-0

Kenindi Oni's hat-trick set up Carmel United's 5-2 success against Poker County UK. Rafael Burke and Aaron Williams completed the tally.

Goals from Mark Parsons (2) and Richard Court could not save Lawrence Rovers Reserves from a 4-3 defeat against Jersey Rangers, whose marksmen were Chris Lewis (2), and Ryan McGuiness (2).

Adrian Johnson and Anthony Tape both hit hat-tricks for Longwell Green OB, who thrashed British Royal Sports 8-2. James Mallet and Nick Smyth completed the rout, with Matt Haines and Gary Keey netting for Sports.
