It is time for us to draw the line
I WOULD like to say how I agree with Ivor Pearce (The Post, March 1). We do not want more immigrants because before long they will turn our green and pleasant land into the type of country they have left behind. We also do not want more houses built unless, of course, they are for British people who have paid their way.
I have to say I hate this government and cannot think of anyone I would want to vote for, (maybe an exception is Theresa May). But, let's face it, they all live on a different planet to us, don't they?
What I cannot understand is, aren't these politicians with families concerned for their children and their grandchildren's futures in a country that they are turning ours into? Because I think the rest of us are.
We really should draw the line now on welcoming more people into the country. All our services are overstretched as it is.

I would like to say a lot more about this lousy government, but I dare not.

“As you wrote, I am sure you would like to say a lot more (anonymously, I am sure) but you dare not. I suppose you fear being labelled as xenophobic or maybe a bigot or even racist, which aren't really nice labels to have.”
