My sympathy for their poster hell
OH NO, not again! It's a few years since I last wrote in with my heartfelt sympathy and concern for the good citizens of Clifton (I think it was all about some blue paint on the zoo walls), but now just as I am finally getting a good night's sleep and worrying about them a bit less, what do I read?
They've got to put up with a blooming great poster for Nuffield Health that's totally out of keeping with the area.

Now for some reason, Brian Worthington and his pals from the Clifton and Hotwells Improvement Society haven't always been convinced about the sincerity of my letters, but come on, how could I possibly take the mickey out of them when they have to put up with this kind of hardship?
Floods, recessions, and coming second from bottom in the Eurovision Song Contest all pale into insignificance when you read a story of this magnitude.
