We are stupid to pay for incomers
D SMITH is quite right to highlight just what is going on in this country. We seem to be the soft touch for all comers and we have to thank Tony Blair for it.
Other countries in the EU put limits on the numbers allowed in. This week in the national press it stated that 56,000 Polish people alone came here to seek work.
Is it any wonder that with all those people coming here there is no work for our own people, that thousands are unable to get a job or seem unable to rent a council house?
We have a huge problem now to try to accommodate them. When the four new schools for primary children are built what happens in four years time? Most senior schools are already full with pupils up to 18 years old staying on unable to get jobs. And it's not just schools – doctors' surgeries and hospitals seem full of people from other countries.

We don't need an elected mayor. We need someone who can tell the likes of David Cameron to stop trying to help and interfere in other countries' problems before sorting our own first. Until we get out of the EU we will carry on being swamped with the huge cost of paying for the large number of incomers who make this their number one destination – and continue to borrow the money from the IMF to do so.

HOW I agree with reader D Smith-Rees concerning the Polish guy parked in the car park.
Personally I think this is the tip of the iceberg.
Why these people are allowed to come into our country, claim benefits and housing is beyond belief. I say ship them all back to their own countries and let them claim benefits there. I don't think they would be so well off, hence they come here. Why is our country so stupid?
