Bristol City set to sign Kilmarnock starlet Liam Kelly
Bristol City boss Derek McInnes hopes to complete the signing of Liam Kelly in time for him to feature in Saturday's home npower Championship showdown with Leicester at Ashton Gate.
The 22-year-old Scotland international midfielder is expected to hold talks with McInnes in Bristol today after Kilmarnock accepted a bid from City believed to be worth around £200,000 after add-ons are taken into account.

Liam Kelly: On his way to Ashton Gate for talks.
Out of contract at Rugby Park at the end of this season and eager to move back down south, Milton Keynes-born Kelly has given McInnes a verbal assurance he wants to sign for the Championship club.
McInnes confirmed: "We've agreed a fee for Liam Kelly and we now need to try and push it over the line.

"We have to get the boy down here, do a medical and try and get international clearance pushed through.
"There is still a wee bit to do before we can announce anything, but the fact Kilmarnock have accepted our bid and the boy is willing to come means things can hopefully be resolved during the course of the day.
"If he can train with us tomorrow, then he can go into the squad for Saturday. Whether it can be done remains to be seen, but it is a real possibility."
City will have to complete the deal and gain international clearance by midday on Friday if Kelly is to make his debut against the Foxes.
McInnes also confirmed his interest in Crawley Town central defender Kyle McFadzean.
As revealed in The Post yesterday, the Robins have tabled an undisclosed six-figure bid for the 25-year-old Yorkshireman and are awaiting a response from the Sussex club.
McInnes said: "We have also put a bid in for Kyle McFadzean, but that one is less clear-cut at the moment.
"There is nothing else to report on that one other than to confirm we do have an interest in bringing him to the club."
That means Kelly is set to become City's first acquisition since the January transfer window opened for business 10 days ago.
An all-action midfielder, Kelly is rated one of the hottest properties in the Scottish Premier League.
McInnes said: "He has accumulated quite a lot of games and experience in the SPL and has been a key player for Kilmarnock over the last few seasons.
"He has amassed quite a lot of Under-21 games for Scotland and is now involved in the full senior squad as well.
"He is 22 years of age and that is a good age for us, which is important. We think we have got a very good deal for the club, considering he only had six months of his contract left and a few other people were looking at him.
"Liam is someone we think will only get better. He gets around the pitch, handles the ball well and takes responsibility for his position."

“The last paragraph is worrying, 'He handles the ball well'.”
