Leeds join the race to sign Bristol City target Richard Keogh
Bristol City face a fight to land top transfer target Richard Keogh after Championship rivals Leeds United joined the race for the unsettled Coventry defender.
Robins boss Derek McInnes has made no secret of his desire to sign the 25-year-old centre-back and City have already had one bid rejected by Sky Blues officials.

Cardiff have also made their interest official, tabling a bid believed to be in excess of £400,000 last month.
And now sources close to Elland Road claim the West Yorkshire club are poised to test Coventry's resolve with a substantial bid for the former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, who was City's player-of-the-year last season.

Coventry manager Andy Thorn is desperate to keep hold of Keogh, who has been earmarked to captain the club back to the Championship following their relegation to League One.
But the former Bristol City star, who has a year of his contract to run, is stalling on a new deal and Coventry may opt to cash in on their captain rather than risk him leaving as a free agent next summer.
Coventry chief executive Tim Fisher said of Keogh: "He's a good player and there will be intense pressure from outside to extract him.
"There is always a figure X, but it would have to be a big figure – I think the value of Richard staying would far outweigh a little bit of cash with money on appearances."

“If we had wanted him that badly we should have got him by now. By us waiting we have allowed other clubs to get involved .All of which are a better attraction than us.It looks like another pre season of missing out on targets.”

“Derby too apparently.
The only thing City have over the others is his former association with the club and his Bristolian wife!
Otherwise I'm sure Leeds new financial power will blow most out of the water.”
