All-star party launch for Bristol Italian
STARS of the small screen turned out for the opening of the Bristol branch of Carluccio's this week.
The Italian restaurant-deli chain has been open at Quaker's Friars for a number of weeks now, but a party has now been held to celebrate its official launch. Among the invitation-only guests were actors from the TV show Casualty, Gillian Kearney, Ivana Basic and Ben Turner.
Guests were treated to canapes and drinks at the restaurant, which sits opposite Raymond Blanc's new local venture Brasserie Blanc.
The Carluccio chain is owned by Antonio Carluccio, the Italian-born chef.
