Bishopston see off Timsbury to claim first win of the season
Dean Graham (4-34) and Mark Coombes (3-41) were the leading bowlers as Timsbury were restricted to 133 by last summer's Bristol & District Senior Division winners.
In reply, Bish struggled to 85-6 before being guided home by John Stilwell (28 not out) and Richard Stone (15 not out).
Old Bristolians/Westbury have climbed top after maintaining their 100 per cent record with a two-wicket success against previously unbeaten Frenchay.
Frenchay opener Mike Donaldson's form with the bat continued when he hit 90, while skipper Masoor Khan chipped in with 48. Greg Melkin took 5-40.
But two quick half-centuries guided the Failand-based side to victory, Rupert Swetman and Alex Harris hitting 51 off 62 balls, including four fours, and 50 off 34 balls, including four fours and three sixes, respectively.
Claverham remain behind Bristolians after securing an 81-run win against Nailsea.
The Yatton side made 237-7 with opener Richard Horton hitting 96 off 121 balls, including 15 fours. Matthew Davis then took the score forward with 63 off 48 balls, including eight fours and two sixes. Only Danny Wollard (70) offered any resistance in Nailsea's 156-9.
Justin Andrews finished with 6-27 as Congresbury beat Shirehampton by three wickets. Ian Perry was unbeaten on 48 in Congresbury's 118-7.
In Bristol & Somerset Division, Chris Munden took 5-34 and then made 32 not out as Brislington won by eight wickets against Stapleton. Nicholas Adams top-scored with 20 in Stapleton's 93-9.
In the only other match which was completed, leaders Lansdown thrashed third-placed Midsomer Norton by 162 runs.
Lansdown made 212-7 with James Palmer (60), Ashley Brook (42 not out) and Tom Naylor (34) the leading batsmen.
James Dunning (5-26) and Jordan Price (4-20) then took over with the ball and restricted Norton to 50.
Minehead against Clevedon was cancelled, while skipper James Carter hit 30 in Bedminster's abandoned clash at North Perrott. The Somerset side were 24-0 in reply to Bedminster's 132-8 when the play was halted.
Winterbourne were saved from what could have been a humiliating defeat when their clash at home to Ashcott & Shapwick was also abandoned.
Nayan Karmarkar and Dave Higgs made 72 not out and 60 respectively as Ashcott racked up 208-7. In reply, Winterbourne were 81-6 after 29.5 overs. Keith Ford top-scored with 32.
