Top stand-up to perform at pier
AWARD-winning British-Iranian comedian Omid Djalili will perform his stand-up show at Weston-super- Mare's Grand Pier in September.
Grand Pier owner Kerry Michael said: "I am delighted Omid Djalili has included the Grand Pier on his UK tour this year. Performers are beginning to put the Grand Pier into their tour schedule, as we establish ourselves as one of the major venues in the South West. Our Jim Davidson show sold out last month, and he personally gave us the thumbs up by ringing other artistes and agents to tell them what a great venue we are."
