They do nothing except squabble
SO, we have had the 'in' and the 'out' and the 'shaking all about' so now we can sing it for another u-turn.
This time, according to our leader, it is a government for business and enterprise. This being the case, we are entitled to ask "what on earth have they been doing for the last two and half years"?
It seems nothing except squabbling amongst themselves about which direction to take, which is why with two diametrically opposed ideologies (left and right) we are in such a mess.
Frankly, David Cameron is just not up to the job and Nick Clegg is more hindrance than help.

Vince Cable is unhappy and can't wait "to go to bed" with Labour whose front bench are already sensing that the coalition is a 'busted flush' which could topple at any time. It just seems that Cameron and George Osborne go round with their eyes closed and ears covered, completely oblivious to the storm breaking around them. Is there no one who can barnstorm this wretched government into life?
I suppose the party conferences which are now imminent will bring forth the usual promises, none of which will be fulfilled. Labour will promise "the earth", the Lib Dems will promise more of the tail wagging policies for which they are famous – gay marriage, unlimited immigration, equality, irrespective of ability etc – whilst the Conservatives will wring their hands and tell us "give the Tories a good majority at the 2015 election" and "what we have previously promised we will fulfil".
So, readers, you pays your money and takes your choice. My mind tells me we are in for two and a half years more of squabbling and drift and as I said in an earlier published letter, likening Cameron (in navy parlance) to a three knott man (engine room to bridge – the engine's knott working, we're knott moving and we're knott likely too). Make your own mind up but if you substitute government for engine, all becomes clear and very true.
