Bristol Rovers' director of football rubbishes latest Lambert reports
BBC Leeds claimed the Terriers have baulked at a £1 million asking price and are also unprepared to meet Lambert's 'mammoth' wage demands.
But Lawrence insists such talk is well wide of the mark.
The former Charlton and Middlesbrough boss told the Post: "I am bored with this story. We have received no contact and no offers from Huddersfield.
"And we haven't received anything from anyone else and I haven't spoken to anyone about him.
"As far as I am concerned he is with us for the rest of the season. You never know because someone from the Premier League might come in but there was interest from Huddersfield six months ago but not since then."
Lambert scored 29 goals last season and stated his desire to join a Championship club at the end of the campaign.
But there has been little interest in the player, who started pre-season training with the Pirates yesterday.
Bristol Rovers have so far made just one signing – Milton Keynes Dons defender Carl Regan – this summer.
Lawrence added: "We are ticking along nicely. We are back in training now and hopefully we will make one or two signings this week."
With that in mind, Rovers have been strongly linked with Stockport County's former Watford midfielder Dominic Blizzard.
Meanwhile, Rovers' groundsman Pete Prior has called for support from fans to help keep the Memorial Stadium pitch in decent condition.
Fans able to give up time on the morning of a game, at half-time and post-match should contact the club on 0117 909 6648.
Those who help will be rewarded with free food and drink and a ticket for the next home game.
