“ We were purchasing 2 Whyte Hybrids from M & D Cycles, Abergavenny, but were continually let down. After waiting 2 weeks and still no bikes, we contacted Terry's Cycles. The checked stock while we were on the phone. Bikes ordered Monday afternoon, arrived on Wednesday and collected that afternoon - Wow!!!! Now the proud owners of a Whyte Coniston Ladies and Whyte Coniston Mens. Service was excellent, Nigel could not of been more helpful. Well worth the 100 mile round trip. Will definately visit again, we cannot recommend Terry's Cycles enough. Thanks guys! ”

Terry's Cycles is one of the best cycle shops in Yate. As avid cyclists, not only are we passionate about the cycles we ride and sell, but we have been committed to providing a first class customer service, satisfying customer's cycling needs and selling excellent products for over 35 years.
Our concern for high performance and safety, means that all of our cycles are meticulously built and serviced by our full-time qualified mechanics, having over 60 years experience between them. With our fullly equipped workshop and approvals from Cytec, Rock Shox, Mavic, Fox, Maverick American, etc we are happy to cater for all repairs from a simple puncture to a full renovation.
We offer a full range of cycles for Sports and Leisure, Commuting, Racing, BMX, Road and Mountain plus a wide range of accessories and clothing. In addition we also offer a special order service - as much as we'd like to, we can't stock everything, but we'd be happy to get it for you (or at least try, everything is a rather tall order after all).
We always aim to give free, friendly and honest advice, whatever your needs.

Superb service and staff

Pre-order or plan ahead for your Ride
“Not so cheap and all price tags seem to be ''rounded-up!''. Helpful staff but not great if you need your bits+bobs immediately on the morning of your ride as the selection is very limited. ”

Excellent service
“Such a nice change. Very helpful and friendly staff who know what they're talking about and don't just try and sell you the latest big thing. An excellent range of bikes and bits in stock (I didn't know so much was available) and what must be magicians in the workshop. My bike went in for a service and came out better than it has ever been. I'll definately be back for all my biking needs from now on.

Well?
“Dont think I was in the right shop for what I wanted really, I was looking for a first bike for my 2 yr old son and the only bike they had was £130, think I need to go to toys r us as my son will grow out of the bike within 6 months and £130 is a lot of money”

“The cycles sold may not be the cheapest, but they will outlast anything from supermarkets and others that sell bikes in boxes. In many cases the bike will easily outlast the child and can be passed down through the family or sold, making it cheaper than several "cheap" bikes that may not work properly or fall apart before they are outgrown.

It is unfair to mark the shop as poor when the service and products are excellent but more expensive.than you were wanting to pay. ”
