Howard Donald DJs at Gatecrasher
The Take That star is taking advantage of the band's tour coming to an end to pursue one of his favourite hobbies and will be spinning the decks for a one-off guest set at the legendary club on August 8.
The Sun reports bosses at the 3,000-capacity venue are so worried about Howard being mobbed by female fans they are tripling security around the DJ box for the night.
The Take That hunk follows in the footsteps of Lily Allen, Bloc Party and Lostprophets who have all been guest DJs at Gatecrasher in the past.
But Howard said he will not be touring nightclubs around the country anytime soon.
He said: "It would have been easy to cash in on the Take That thing and tour all the commercial clubs, but that would go against everything I stand for.
"Music is my life, I love nothing more than playing house music to an appreciative crowd.
"To sell yourself out for commercial value as a DJ simply makes you look cheap and definitely shortens your shelf life."
