'Thompson Twins' quit Tytherington
Steve Thompson has already quit Hellenic League Rocks to join Thornbury Town and his brother and fellow striker Danny is poised to join him at the County League outfit next week.
"It's disappointing to lose them," said Granger. "Steve's work commitments have led to him taking a step down, while Danny is seeking regular first-team football.
"But we've got enough strength up front in Marcus Taylor, James Hicks and Mark Greenland, while Luke Davidson (ex-Longwell Green) has just joined us and he can support the attack well from midfield."
Steve Thompson is poised to make his full debut for Thornbury at Kings Stanley tomorrow following his two-goal start as a substitute in last Saturday's 6-0 thrashing of Berkeley Town.
Rockleaze Avonside entertain Shirehampton, who give a full debut to new midfielder Richard Cakar following his arrival from Avonmouth.
