Singing back to the Seventies in Shirehampton
The Grainger Players are putting on the show at 7.30pm on November 6 and 7 to raise funds for military charity Help for Heroes.
The show builds on the success of the Swinging Sixties show which took place in May.
The players were formed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of D-Day in 1994.
The show was produced by Shirley James and was a great success, with a full house every night.
Ms James produced all the shows until her death.
Now in their 15th year, there are just four original players left: Liz Hurd, Monica Doul, Teresa Cox and Mary Hayball.
The members live in the surrounding areas of Shirehampton, Lawrence Weston and Avonmouth and the group's shows are usually themed with singing, dancing and comedy.
The members, aged from nine to 76 , meet on Thursdays in the Public Hall at 7.30pm.
For further details, contact Mary Hayball at m.hayball@btinternet.com.
Tickets for the Sensational Seventies show are available from D and P Fashions, in High Street, Shirehampton, or book your seats by calling 982 4893.
