Bristol man in court over wounding

A Shirehampton man has appeared before Bristol magistrates charged with wounding a man with intent.

Steven Blacker, 30, of Priory Road, is accused of wounding Alan Harris with intent to cause grievous bodily harm on May 18 in the Clyde Arms in Hampton Road, Redland.

He is also charged with growing 48 cannabis plants and dishonestly using electricity in Stoke Bishop.

No pleas were entered.

The case concerning the wounding charge was adjourned until October 16 for a hearing at Bristol Crown Court.

The case concerning the cannabis and electricity was adjourned until October 15, when Blacker will appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court.
