More scientists quit over David Nutt sacking

Three more scientists have resigned from the Government's drugs advisory body in the wake of the sacking of Bristol University professor David Nutt as the Government's chief drugs adviser.

Chemist Dr Simon Campbell, psychologist Dr John Marsden and scientific consultant Ian Ragan stepped down from the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs last night after talks with Home Secretary Alan Johnson. Prof Nutt was sacked for his remarks on cannabis, Ecstasy and LSD.
