The main road through Saltford was closed for an hour yesterday when a lorry and a car were involved in a crash.

The two vehicles were both travelling on the A4 when the accident happened at about 1.30pm.

A woman who was in the car was taken to hospital. The extent of her injuries had not been revealed last night.
