It's a family affair for Barton Hill's Steer trio
Bob Steer will be itching to get off the bench after being named in the same squad as his two sons, Sam and Jack, for the first time at Barton Hill.
Steer senior, 44, will be covering for the props when Barts visit Berry Hill tomorrow in Western Counties North (2.30pm). Jack, 17, starts at scrum-half and Sam, 21, is at openside flanker.
Keynsham have named the same side that won 21-20 at Thornbury almost a fortnight ago for the home game with North Bristol (2.30pm).
The only changes come on the bench, where flanker Brett King and centre Pete Colman win recalls.
Thornbury welcome back fly-half John Howells and Dave Matthews for their match at Chosen Hill (2.30pm).
Steve Allington remains on the wing, with Ben Fowkes continuing at centre in the absence of Tim Stephens. In the pack, Alex Kane is preferred to Giles Bristol at lock.
Thornbury defeated Chosen in the opening league game but their seasons have gone in different directions since, with Chosen second in the division and Thornbury fourth-from-bottom.
In South West Two West, Avonmouth are sweating on the fitness of scrum-half Sean Leadbeater after he damaged his shoulder in the 34-13 Charles Saunders Combination Cup semi-final defeat to Clifton. Gary Leadbeater and Elliot Goodman touched down, with Charlie Reynolds hitting a penalty for Avonmouth.
'Mouth, who are also taking a second team to Paignton (2.30pm), could be without locks Luke Matthews (shoulder) and Danny Williams (ankle) for the rest of the season.
Rivals Clevedon and St Mary's clash at Coleridge Vale Playing Fields (2.30pm).
Clevedon have doubts over Steve Johnson (knee), Chris Cates (hamstring), Rory Biggins (shoulder), James Shopland (thigh) and Wayne Wheeler (shoulder), while Saints are without their goalkicker Chris Ramwell and player-coach Dave Hilton.
Yatton welcome back centre Mike Harris and openside flanker Bill Osborne for their home clash against Brixham (2.30pm).
Southmead remain on course for their third straight Charles Saunders Combination Vase success, having won 19-15 against Winscombe on Wednesday.
Tries from Gary Sposito (2) and Anton Welling and two conversions by Danny Cotterell put Southmead 19-5 up before they took their foot off the pedal.
They will now face Old Colstonians in the final at Clifton's Henbury ground on Thursday, April 9 (7.30pm).
