It's Jubilee fun ... 1950s style
PEOPLE are being asked to dig out their royal memorabilia from the year of the Coronation for a special exhibition to mark the event.
Weston-super-Mare Museum is planning a number of events to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee including an exhibition at the Burlington Street centre.
Museum staff are now asking people if they have any royal memorabilia they would be prepared to lend for a special exhibition over the weekend on June 4 and 5.
The celebrations will kick off with a thanksgiving service on June 3 at 3pm by Chaplaincy Around Town (CHAT). On June 4 and 5 there will be a 1950s themed street party with children's games in the art gallery and a party in the courtyard.
