From the warmest of welcomes you receive on arrival to a hearty handshake by the door as you leave, you are really looked after, This is very much in the mould of a traditional Tandoori restaurant, pleasant atmosphere, cosy booths, and attentive service. Of course the main reason you visit will be for the food For 30 years this place has never scimped on the size of their dishes and the quality. From the well know curries to an excellent array of House Specials. The waiters are all incrediably knowledgeable, and will answer any questions you have in a patient unhurried manner. Whilst others may come and go, Ruplai Tandoori has become an institution in Indian cuisine in Bristol, and long may it continue! ”

A spicy surprise...
“For about 10 years, Ive been coming with my family to Rupali Tandoori in Kingswood and every year the place has gotten better. The chef makes exactly what you want, whether you like spicy or a liberally spiced curry. It was here that I first acquired a taste for Indian beer, one of the first restaurants in this area to serve Kingfisher and Cobra. As far as curry houses go, you cannot get better.”
