Walk up the stairs and prepare to be amazed

While downstairs, Maximillions is a typical cafe with some nice touches and enough food in their deli section to feed an army, this place only comes into its own after a walk upstairs. There you will find a true cornucopia of delights that need to be seen to be believed. Walking up the stairs, there is only the merest hint of what awaits – dusty books, vine leaves, an old magnum of champagne – and then you are transported into a scene somewhere between a rustic Spanish farm house, an Arabic palace and the office of a particularly eccentric university professor.

Maximillions Bristol in Broad Street is something else. Generous portions (no stingy sandwiches here), friendly staff and sensible pricing make Maximillions one of the best places to eat in the county.

If you’re looking for a deli in Bristol then prepare to be amazed. Downstairs is a traditional cosy cafe laden with more deli food than any one person could possibly eat. Upstairs, however, you will feel as if you have entered a fantasy location that incorporates eclectic elements from a rustic farmhouse in Spain to an Arabian palace.

Broad Street Maximillions Bristol is certainly an excellent choice should you find yourself in the area and pretty peckish; you won’t be disappointed.
