Daine shines for high-flying Hanham Sunday

Hanham Sunday maintained their promising start to the season – and their early lead at the top of the Premier Division – as Daine O'Connor's hat-trick and a Twaine Plummer goal gave them a 4-1 win over Beaufort, who replied through Craig Davidge's penalty.

Shireway Sports remain second on goal difference after a 4-2 win over Easton Cowboys, who netted through Ben Ricketts and John Henson, while Lebeq Tavern Courage also have a 100 per cent return after their 2-0 victory at AFC Redland.

Goals from Alex Zajac, Marley Long and James Laver secured Katsura's 3-1 win over White Tree, who had Steve Bright on target.

The Anchor still have a two-point lead at the top of Division I after Nicky Martin's double and strikes from Paul Fearon and Dave Bamforth sealed a 4-2 win over Salmon Solutions.

Lebeq Tavern Courage Reserves stayed second after winning 3-1 at Longreach Athletic, who netted through Dan Shorney, while Wizard Wanderers moved into third with a 6-3 triumph at PJ Services. Ryan Campbell (3), Rich Rees (2) and Dale Leonard were on target for Wanderers.

Mendip SBW are three points clear in Division II after Bud Eaves (3), Ben Thatcher (2), Joe Attiwell (2), Luke Burton and Gerry Wiltshire netted in their 9-2 win over Lockstock United.

Sarafan Sports are second after a 5-0 win at Marcliff. Dan Corns scored a hat-trick and Andy Nash netted twice.

Wardies Bar bagged their first win of the campaign with a 6-1 victory at Brislington 1987. Dan Hedges scored four and Niall O'Loughlain two for the visitors.

Dave Moseley scored both goals in Merryweather OB's 2-0 triumph at Signal Generals.

Portcullis were the weekend's biggest winners, slamming Oracle 9-0 to go second in Division III. Their goals came from Stuart Nelson (4), Roy Simpson (3), Jason Parks and Josh Duncan.

Midland Spinner are top after making it two wins out of two by beating Longreach Reserves 6-1.

Cutters Friday Sunday edged a nine-goal thriller against Warwick, triumphing 5-4 thanks to Jason Blackmore (3), Dan Caddy and Dan Sellers.
