A python, breast implants and a kitten among items left in hotel rooms

A PYTHON named Monty was left in a South Gloucestershire hotel room, it has been revealed.

The snake, which was discovered in the Severn View Travelodge by the M48 Severn Bridge, was among the bizarre items left by guests in rooms during 2012, according to the hotel chain.

Other items left in hotel rooms included a bucket of live crabs in Brighton, a Persian kitten worth £600 and a pair of breast implants.

The chain said that more than 20,000 books were left in its hotel rooms, including 7,000 copies of Fifty Shades of Grey.

The hotel chain revealed that among the other items left behind by guests was a Persian chinchilla kitten worth £600, which was left in a cat box in the Birmingham Airport Travelodge. The owner was en route to a cat show when she realised she had left the kitten in her room.

A micro pig called Percy was left in a Glasgow hotel while a woman left a pair of breast implants she had bought from the USA in a Newcastle Travelodge prior to her operation.

A pantomime horse was left in a Leeds hotel room by a cast member from a production of Cinderella and a winning EuroMillions ticket was left under a mattress in a Watford room after its owner placed it there for safe-keeping.
