Show puts spotlight on Bristol dancers
A group of Bristol dancers, who made their debut in London's West End last year, were back in the limelight to perform a one-off show.
A total of 86 children, who attend Performers Dance and Musical Schools in Hanham and Brislington, joined forces to perform at One Night Only, a showcase based around hip hop, street dance, musical theatre, jazz and contemporary dance.

Last year 60 children were selected to perform at Her Majesty's Theatre in London.
The success meant school principal Lucy Ryan was able to set up a second school in Brislington in April last year, and also has plans to open a third school early next year.
The children aged from six to 18 combined forces last Saturday to perform 21 routines to a sell-out audience at the Redgrave Theatre.
Ms Ryan, said: "This is about the fun side of performance and dance. We don't make children audition, anyone can join in, but we're a professional company and put on big shows. I'm really proud of the children, I put the show together about a year ago but they have been working on it for the past 13 weeks. Dancers who have been revising for GCSEs or going to university have kept up the commitment and they have worked so hard. Each age group has a different routine but at one point all 86 go on stage at the same time. It really showcases what they are capable of."
Classes are held at West Town Lane Primary School, West Town Lane, on Tuesday evenings in term time and Hanham High School, Memorial Road, on Friday evenings. There are spaces available from September. For more information contact Lucy on 07775 947715.
