“ A proper "locals pub". Very well kept Draught Bass and Courage Best as well as Thatchers & Taunton Rough Cider. After Blackthorn changed, it was replaced with Thatcher's Dry. There is a Skittle alley & function room upstairs. Occasional live music on a Sunday afternoon. One of the few pubs in the area with Sky Sports TV. This pub has what is probably the best beer garden in the Brislington area. There are Darts, Crib & Skittle teams and the Brislington Guitar Club which meets here on a Wednesday evening. ”
