Good food, shame about the service

“ My friends & I went there for a mate's 30th birthday lunch on a Sunday. The food was great but took ages and got left on the wrong table - at which no one was even sitting - becaue there was more than one table with that number painted on it! Sitting about five meters away, we were truely baffled by this & eventually went and took the food to our own table nearby. I would say it's good but don't go there when it's busy - they clearly weren't coping well enough. ”

Down by the riverside

“The inside entrance doors are a bit 1970s social club, but once you get inside it's very nice. Good food, lovely location and friendly staff. A good selection of food on the menu - we enjoyed a good scampi and chips.”

Riverside meal

“This is one of the most popular pubs in the area, particularly during the summer.
It has a good range of beers and wide ranging menu.
You can choose to eat in the bar or perhaps the conservatory.
or maybe in the garden which is in very close proximity to Saltford Lock and you can sit for hours and watch the launches and barges going through the lock.”
