“ The Abbotswood Inn is one of those pubs that you think twice about entering from the outside, but once inside you wondered what on Earth you were worried about. The locals are very friendly and welcoming to strangers and families (though the family facilities certainly leave something to be desired). The beers available are nice but unfortunately there arent any real ales. The staff and general atmosphere are what make this place worth a visit its just really friendly, with a real sense of community, which is definitely rare in this particular area of Yate. Well done to the owners. ”
