£6,000-plus raised at charity's annual lunch
MORE than £6,000 was raised at the Bristol Underprivileged Children's Charity annual lunch.
Held at the Bristol Hotel, close to 200 guests attended, including Lord Mayor Peter Main and elected mayor George Ferguson, along with the charity's patron Terry Waite CBE.
Each guest brought a toy that was given to children who would otherwise not receive a Christmas present and the money will go to deserving causes in the Bristol area.
