£1.35m expenses bill for Bristol area MPs
MPs from across the Bristol area cost taxpayers more than £1.35 million in travel, office and accommodation costs over the past year.
But the man in charge of overseeing claims says politicians are now claiming responsibly and within the rules, declaring that the expenses scandal is "clearly history".
Costs vary between MPs, with one claiming no travel or accommodation costs, while the most expensive claimed just under £160,000.
The bulk of the money claimed by each MP was spent on office costs.
