    “They were running up till about 7:30-8am. But after all services were cancelled. I was in Broadmead at 8:30am and didn't see any buses atall. And had to walk the rest of the way to work, luckily it was only a 20 minute walk. On my way I only two buses with passengers on, which had a "Not in Service" on the destination displays. I can't understand those people who are still insisting that all(or most of them) buses were running as normal!”

    “So.. did they actually run or not? Their own website said all services were off early Friday morning, however, not 30 mins later I saw a bus, with passengers, going down the (clear and gritted) Bath Road.

    If they take the services off for safety reasons, fine, but I wish they'd make it clear on their site just what's going on and keep updating it. My missus depends on public transport to get to work, at 6 in the morning, and if she needs to walk or get a lift she needs to know pronto. They can run an up-to-the minute system that tracks services, so surely it's not a stretch to get that info to feed to their site and give at least some indication of what's going on, rather than having to wait til the office staff get in at 9 in the morning?”

    “More should be done to keep the bus routes open, clear and safe - there are still no buses running anywhere near here today and the road is now clear???”

    “To those people who are insisting that all bus services were not cancelled, and near normal service was running. No that was not the case! About 7:30am yesterday First cancelled ALL Bristol bus services. It was confirmed on their website. It wasn't untill about midday that some services began operating on a restricted basis, and later in the afternoon untill most services were back to normal.”
