"I do take a peek" at the league table admits Bristol City star Marvin Elliott
Marvin Elliott admits he looks at the npower Championship league table as Bristol City continue to battle relegation.
Head coach Sean O’Driscoll insists he takes no notice of where the Robins are in the league, preferring to focus on performances rather than results.
But midfielder Elliott says he and his team-mates are aware of the team’s position and DO look at other results.
He told The Post: “You try not to look at the league table and other results, but as the games go on and run down, you take a little peek.

“Obviously, we all know the position we are in and we know that, mathematically speaking, we have to win games if we are going to get out of it.
“In that situation, you do take a peek.”
He added: “We may be bottom, but we are gradually clawing other sides into it. The worry at this stage of the season is that you are going to run out of games and we are very conscious of that.
“Hopefully, we can pick up a few more wins in the next few games and improve our position.”
