Bristol judo club throws party for 30th anniversary

A judo club in Patchway is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

New Star Patchway Judo Club, which is the only judo club in South Gloucestershire and Bristol to have achieved the Sport England Clubmark, meets at the Patchway Youth Centre in Coniston Road.

To mark the occasion, the club is hosting an open day on Saturday, November 28, between 9.30am and 1pm. Members past and present have been invited to join the celebrations.

The group is a family club run by volunteers, which caters for recreational and competitive players, taking children from five years up to and including adults.
