Our party says boycott election
NORMAN Tebbit, a member of Margaret Thatcher's cabinet, has launched an all out attack on David Cameron's Conservative-led coalition. The veteran Conservative Lord Tebbit described it as a dog of a coalition. He attacked the arrogance of the party's leadership with its 'posh boy' out of touch image and the impression of incompetence that Cameron, Osborne and May have created.
A symptom of that incompetence is the badly thought-through policy of elected Police Commissioners, which the country is supposed to vote for shortly. Lord Blair, the former Head of Scotland Yard, says that policy is potentially so damaging that the public should boycott the elections. The South Party is inclined to agree with him. We are reserving judgment until we have had a chance to consider the material which the government is distributing on the matter, but it is likely is that All The South will also recommend that the electorate withhold its consent to this election.
