“John is right, it is all part and parcel of the game.
Keane missed a couple of chances earlier in the game to wrap up victory; the final result didn't just hinge on the handball incident.
If this match gets replayed I want the England vs Argentina World Cup game from 1986 replayed.”

“That's football! If it had been the other end and Ireland qualified then would there be the same uproar this side i=of the Channel? Every match there are incidents that are controversial. Until technology is brought in then it won't change. Of course its more important than many matches but we all want 'our team' to win every time & cheating is part of the modern game. I can't see FIFA calling for a replay as it would sey a dangerous precedent.”
