No sympathy for drink drivers

While I have every sympathy for this lady's illness, because no one should have to go through having cancer, I have no sympathy that she has been banned for drink-driving (Post, April 10).

Thankfully, all she hit is a parked car. Imagine if she had hit a person and killed them, would she be in the paper complaining about being banned from driving? Nope, she would be in prison where she belongs.

Everyone has to take responsibility for their actions. And hopefully this will speak to others who think they are OK to drive after drinking. You are not!
